Design Innovation Centers (DIC), an initiative of MHRD, is facilitated through IDC at IITB. Focus of DIC is to solve real-life problems innovatively and creatively way, project implementation, building synergistic relationship with industry and to encourage entrepreneurial activities. This will be facilitated through Hub and Spoke Model wherein IITB will mentor the spoke institute at the field. DIC’s are connected to each other through National Design Innovation Network (NDIN) and further collaborative network of all DIC’s and its spokes is supported through National Knowledge Network (NKN).
